GUGUOU

With Their Hearts, People Walk is the title of the new performance and installation by the artist collective GuGuOu formed by Güneş Terkol, Güçlü Öztekin, and Oğuz Erdin at Corridor Project Space. The project With Their Hearts, People Walk is part of Corridor’s year programme In Your Own Backyard. The programme focuses on local resources, collaborations with neighbours and vicinities. Because the most interesting stories can be found in our own backyard. GuGuOu will have their studio on platform 4 at LLOYD. For this new work, GuGuOu will concentrate on sound and movement. As inspiration they take the location of the Veemkade and the history of LLOYD as departure point of migration. Distant sounds unknown to those whom travel may not be appreciated at first, while other sounds may create melodies in our heads that we keep with us during our walks.
